6 Yards of Happiness

Mind over matters keeps one really intertwined in deep sorrow. As I sail through this tough waters figuring out my future after a breakup, I was desperately looking for a magical moment that could give me immense happiness.

I found that moment in a long lost love of mine in these 6 yards — SAREE. Though not as exhuberant as Camp: Notes on Fashion (the Met Gala’s theme for 2019, it’s something that gives me equals happiness as going Camp.

I used to love them a lot, somewhere down the line I hid them in the closet. Today was the day I pulled one of my favorites, a PURPLE one. A sense of excitement creeped as I slowly draped this six yards. The result — euphoria over looking beautiful all over again.

The day was just as beautiful, with me breezing through things at work. Smiling at everyone, and feeling that warmth of glee in their eyes as they enjoyed the vibrant elegant look of the saree.
