30 day challenges versus new year resolutions
It is that time of the year one gets bamboozled to pick up a resolution!!! If you were looking for something unfaltering, I highly recommend the switch to 30 day challenges
Read on to know how I pursued doing these 30 day challenges; and eventually nail down a favourite and something to anchor other than my beloved day job!
My 2020’s 30 day challenges and their objectives:
- January 30 day challenge - Meditation Challenge by Kassandra Reinhardt for emotional clarity
- February 30 day challenge - Zentangle Art doodling for perfection
- March 30 day challenge - Daily yoga for combating bloating and improving digestion
- April 30 day challenge - Dance Choreography for addressing the fear of choreographing songs by self
- May 30 day challenge - Yoga at home for motivating others from the dampener COVID restrictions
- June 30 day challenge - Morning yoga movement challenge by Kassandra (my yin yoga guru) for regularity
- July 30 day challenge - Read an hour for knowledge
- August 30 day challenge- Art of Allowing by Kassandra Reinhardt for forgiveness and attracting abundance
- And for the whole year - 30 weekend travel for exploring the beauty of this world
- Plus a dozen Yoga Challenges on Instagram @pammiarchana
Mid way through these challenges, I found my deepest passion in practicing yoga. And all the others have become my go to activities to foster creativity, to learn new things daily and explore!
Why this works best, is because
- 30 days is a short commitment compared to the whole year. Also you just need 21 days to make it a habit!
- If you plan it right and follow it to the tee, you can fit in atmost 12 - 30 Day challenges. That’s as good as learning, mastering or experiencing 12 new things!!
- Fear of failing will take a walk forever. If you can do it for 30 days, then you definitely can master it
- Journal or note down the way you feel while doing these challenges. Or if you are charged by visuals, I would recommend video taping or taking photographs of the progress you make. Looking back at it you will rejoice as a Champion, a Conqueror, a Winner and a STAR!!!!
A pro tip: Share this challenge with your immediate social circle, their curiosity edges you to be consistent towards success!
